Giving

During COVID-19 we are broadcasting adult and childen's themed services via our YourTube channel. Because of this you won't be able to make your normal offerings on a Sunday so we have introduced on-line giving which allows you to either set up a direct debit mandate or make a one off donation as and when you want to. This is a secure system used by many Churches up and down the country but if you have any concerns please do contact the Church office who are still working remotely.

Thank you so much for your financial support. We could not fulfil our God-given vision without your generous offering of your time, talents and finance. We encourage regular members of the church to contribute to the vision of the church and the activities associated with it.

You can give in many different ways...

1) On Sundays. When the offering baskets are passed around. Please see the donate link above which we are using during the COVID-19 quarantine period.

2) Regular Giving online.  You can choose a one off payment, monthly or both. You can set this up online here or  contact us for more information

3) Leave a legacy gift in your Will. Often people want to leave money to allow Mount Pleasant Church to continue in it's work both locally and abroard.
If you are aged 60 or above you may be eligible for the Baptists Together free Will writing service. There is no obligation to leave us a bequest although we sincerely hope you will consider doing so. Please make sure you stipulate Mount Pleasant Church in Northampton if you want any bequest to come specificially to us.

At the time of writing (June 2018) all charitable gifts are free of Inheritance Tax but please do take advice or check with HMRC for the current rules.
